I had to go to Stockholm for 24 hours this weekend due to visa reasons, so Theo stayed with dad since he is still stateless (since the Swedish authorities are not very fast). It was of course devastating to leave Theo for so long, but it was also a much needed an appreciated pause in the diaper life I’m living at the moment. Suddenly I could appreciate things I had taken for granted before the baby, like reading on the plane without being interrupted by various liquids that want to come out or in of the baby’s body. I stayed at Bank Hotel which also was a nice contrast to the sleepless bed back home.
I had brunch with some friends and in the evening I went out with my bestie. It’s been such a long time since I went out in Sweden that I had forgotten how social and nice people are after a couple of glasses of wine. In Moscow people you don’t know would seldom start talking with you, if not very drunk. But this Saturday we met so many nice girls that started chatting with us without any “ulterior motives”
My outfit turned out to be a great conversation starter. I wore what you see in the pictures and my hat turned out to be a big success in the Stockholm nightlife, many drunk souls really wanted to try it on. I’m quite obsessed with caramel colours at the moment (or beige, but caramel sounds more crisp) and I’ve also realised that it matches my hair color as well. Can you say that one has caramel hair? Well, I think I have that! I also feel a bit like a glazed meringue with that hat on top.
What do you think about this kind of blog posts? Sometimes I feel a bit schizophrenic in my blogging… on one had I love fashion and I’m obsessed with outfits, so it IS an authentic part of who I am. But writing polite texts below the pictures a la fashion magazines is not really my style. I don’t know.. what do you think?
